Dear RG Family,
Tomorrow we head back to Hong Kong. Today is the nicest day since we came. Otherwise we've had clouds every day and a fair bit of rain. Anyhow, we still managed to get out and do some things or walk.
First of all, I wish our RG family a Happy Chinese New Year. The traditional greeting, of course , is "Kung Hei Fat Choi," which basically means "I wish you material blessings." I won't try to put it into Chinese words, but most of all I wish all of you God's blessings that he wishes to bestow on each of us.
We're looking forward to our Sunday service this week with our guests from the Jin Wha Foundation. They will be leading worship and sharing testimonies. Pastor Tommy will also be sharing a shortened message on "My Refuge" from Psalm 16.
We will have the normal fellowship lunch after the service and we'll also celebrate January birthdays.
In the afternoon we'll show the film. "The Good Lie." Come and invite your friends to the service and film.
On Monday, Jan. 30th, Day 3 of Chinese New Year, we will have a hike to Amah's Rock in Shatin. If you plan to join, please be at the Tai Wai MTR station at 9:30am, exit A - inside the turnstiles. Bring along your lunch for a picnic, and bring at least one bottle of water. It's supposed to be relatively warm on Monday.
Next Wednesday, Feb 1, we will have the Wed. morning fellowship, however the will not be life group that evening.
