Dear RiverGrace family,
Last week I shared about the different voices we may hear in our daily lives; voices that cry out for our attention; voices that can be confusing because we don't know if they are telling us the truth, or not.
Is one of the voices we listen to God's voice? Does he really communicate with us? Does he desire to speak to you and me? If so, how does he do it? How can we distinguish God's voice out of cacophony of voices we hear? If he does speak to us, are there things that clog up our ears or lives so that we can't hear him very well? These are some of the questions Cindy will address in a new series about hearing God's voice.
P. Tommy will lead worship and we'll have our normal fellowship lunch after the service.
At 2:45pm Grant will lead us in another session of T4T training. The Cantonese class for Filipinas will be held at 4:30pm.
We are trying something new and inviting the Mandarin-speaking Chinese students to come at 5:30 on Sunday. Many of them find it hard to attend on Wednesday since they have classes or school projects to do on Wednesday.
Thank you for your prayers for the Leadership Team retreat. We had good times of sharing. One of the significant decisions was to move RiverGrace to more of a cell-church model. It suits the different and diverse groups we have who are attending RiverGrace. Please pray as we work on the model that might work best for our church. We'll tell you more about it as plans develop.
Next Wednesday morning, Grant will continue the training of T4T in the morning fellowship that meets at 11:00am. In the evening we'll have dinner at 7:00pm, followed by the life group.
